Hot and Cold Water Dispensers and Filtered Faucets
Instant heating units help conserve water by delivering hot water instantly. You won't have to wait as the temperature rises. You'll get about 60 cups an hour with a standard tank. A larger, higher-wattage tank will give you even more. If you prefer to use filtration units instead of a regular faucet for cooking or for beverages, there are units available that deliver hot or chilled filtered water without requiring you to contract with a company that delivers bottles and uses its own particular unit. Use your dispenser to make hot beverages or instant soups. You can also use them to warm or defrost frozen or cold-food items.
Another option is the filter faucet. This allows you to use the tap for cooking and preparing food. Since it is a standard faucet, you can also control the temperature more accurately than with point-of-delivery units, which only have two distinct temperature settings. They do not have the same advantages in speed and convenience, but they do offer similar quality.
