Smart Divide Sinks
The main limitation of double- and triple-bowl sinks is solved with Smart Divide sinks. While you might generally want multiple bowls in your kitchen sink, this makes it difficult to clean large items, such as baking pans and cookie sheets. You may need to wash one side before turning the object so that you can submerge and wash the other end.
Smart Divide sinks, however, feature low dividers between the two sections. This means you can still take advantage of multiple compartments as you prepare food or clean dishes. With the low profile, however, you can clean larger items with ease in a Smart Divide sink, as most objects can straddle the divider while still remaining fully in the sink.

Smart Divide Sinks from Kohler and Swanstone
